Newsgroups are an excellent resource for Linux users, whether novice or veteran. There are a number of newsgroups dedicated to various aspects of Linux that usually cross different distributions, and there are newsgroups dedicated to the distributions themselves. A very good general Linux newsgroup to look at is comp.os.linux.misc. Below is a list of the majority of the newsgroups available to Linux users. If you know of any newsgroups that are not in the list, please let us know. If you run into any problems finding any of the newsgroups, ask your ISP or check out Deja News.
